In studio family session - Bellaphoto - Comox Valley photographer

This is the 4th time I have shot this STUNNING family, and the most amazing part of that is that they live on completely the opposite end of the country, but head back to the Comox Valley to visit family.
This was the first time I had bet their youngest little one. what a beautiful family!

a few years ago.. hmm like 4 years ago... I was at the park. I saw a gorgeous, cool, hip, tattooed chick and thought to myself "wow that girl is way too cool to be friends with me"
and though I am normally a pretty friendly and confident person, I felt intimidated and kept on going.

fast forward, to a message on a mommy group saying "Hey guys, is anyone moving to the island and wants to be friends"...
so I sent a message stating "ME!" and realized it was cool chick. A friendship began.
Moral of the story, some people can be just as cool and awesome on the inside as they are on the outside...

I am so happy to have these awesome people in our new life <3 And SO happy they came all the way from Nanaimo to little ole' Black Creek for some glowy family photos. This session was so good for my soul ♥

So I am going to say it right here... I don't shoot in the rain. I just can't. The reason...
My FAVORITE images, the ones that make me swoon, and drool.. all involve light. Warm, rich, glowy light. It's my why.
These awesome clients hard to be rescheduled, more that once.
But they trusted me.. they trusted that I wanted to give them the best I could.
And their session.. it one of my favorite's ever.

This was one of the last outdoor family sessions I did before the move to Black Creek BC.
I can't WAIT for photo session on my new property!!!
