I love that I still have amazing clients from my old town that will "wait" for me to travel back for their family photography session. I have been photographing these gorgeous twins since they were teeny tiny. It's amazing how different these girls look, but when you see mom and dad it COMPLETELY makes sense. I love seeing these stunning faces.

It's still so amazing to me when a client will drive hours just to come to my Comox Valley photo studio for a session.
This time was the gorgeous Ashley, who at 36 weeks pregnant drove all the way from Nanimo to the Comox Valley!  The icing on the cake was having my AMAZING makeup artist there to put the finishing touches on <3 <3 Chloe Glows. It's so awesome to be able to add her services on to make momma feel like a rock star.

a few years ago.. hmm like 4 years ago... I was at the park. I saw a gorgeous, cool, hip, tattooed chick and thought to myself "wow that girl is way too cool to be friends with me"
and though I am normally a pretty friendly and confident person, I felt intimidated and kept on going.

fast forward, to a message on a mommy group saying "Hey guys, is anyone moving to the island and wants to be friends"...
so I sent a message stating "ME!" and realized it was cool chick. A friendship began.
Moral of the story, some people can be just as cool and awesome on the inside as they are on the outside...

I am so happy to have these awesome people in our new life <3 And SO happy they came all the way from Nanaimo to little ole' Black Creek for some glowy family photos. This session was so good for my soul ♥
