My favourite part of being a newborn photographer, is seeing "my" babies grow up!

I remember so clearly doing this little man's newborn photo session, and since moving to the Comox Valley, I have been able to return to my old town for Family photo session! 

This rad fam came to see me during a recent round of family sessions in Tsawwassen. Sidenote I totally think this momma is aging backwards, she looks younger every time I photograph her!.

I love when siblings come in studio for their baby's newborn photo session. These clients traveled all the way from Campbell River for their baby session, and the results were amazing.

This family has the best hair of ANY families I photograph, and they  definitely earned that title when they arrived with a new puppo, WITH MATCHING HAIR!!! I have been shooting these girls for years, and I can't believe how old they are getting, it's such a joy capture their family photo session.

The best part about having a commercial newborn photography studio on 5th street in Courtenay is the options. In my heart I LOVE posed newborn photography, babies in buckets are my jam. But for family and sibling posing I love lifestyle. In my studio I am able to give the option of both a lifestyle and posed session all in one. The reason this session is one of my favourites in the interaction between the siblings. The ease of lifestyle gives me the ability to just capture the love between them instead of "LOOK AND SMILE!!!" but then once dad took them out the park, I was able to pose their baby brother in all the cute props.
