New baby session - Bellaphoto - Comox Valley

I know I can tell everyone time and time again, but there is literally NO bad age for baby photos. I have had clients come to me in tears, as other photographer's have said the words "your baby is too old".

There is literally no such thing..

Though newborn photography sessions usually take place between 7-21 days, and we may not get curly newborn poses, we will always capture gorgeous connections between you and your baby.

I also love that as the baby gets a little older, generally siblings are a little more used to the idea, and are able to love on that little a bit more.

This stunning little one was over 8 weeks old when she came in to my Comox Valley photography studio.

Mountain maternity session

An outdoor session in January is pretty hit or miss. This gorgeous momma to be and I were texting and emailing all day, "should we or shouldn't we" the clouds were dark but it was showing a dry day. Finally we decided, lets roll the dice and see how the weather pans out. I Couldn't be happier, as I pulled up to their amazing Merville Property, the clouds parted, and the sun snuck out behind Mount Washington. It was magical. It doesn't hurt when you have an amazing 50 acre farm property in the Comox Valley. This maternity session was magical.

The weather has been crazy this fall in the Comox Valley, I was so excited to travel back to my home town for fall family photos.. and the weather wasn't much different, but I LOVE the moodiness and dept the cloud cover gave. This family has been with me since their newborn photo session with their second, and I am so happy to get to photograph their new baby! <3

Well.. you know how they say the cobbler's kids have no shoes..

Finally decided enough was enough and it was time MY family had a session!

Since I decided this on a Saturday afternoon, and it had to be like RIGHT THEN...

what else could I do, but pull out a tripod, and make it happen!
