The weather has been crazy this fall in the Comox Valley, I was so excited to travel back to my home town for fall family photos.. and the weather wasn't much different, but I LOVE the moodiness and dept the cloud cover gave. This family has been with me since their newborn photo session with their second, and I am so happy to get to photograph their new baby! <3

Kinda obsessed with this session. I love beach family photography especially at one of a few "secret" beaches I know around town. Private and stunning, it's the perfect place for a family session.

I always love sibling photos, but it's even more amazing when big sis is old enough to hold and snuggle baby on her own!  I was so excited when this Campbell River family came to my Courtenay photographer studio for their newborn session!

This was a very special little girl that came in for her newborn photography session. Not only was she the first newborn at the Campbell River Hospital, she was also the first newborn at my Courtnenay photography studio!! I wanted to have a studio that focused on newborn photography in Courtenay BC and I now have that! AND it's on 5th street! A total dream come true!

It was such a treat to have this awesome family come in studio. Big brother was only 2, but he rocked the sibling photos.

Can't wait for more babies!!

One thing I am going to miss about shooting at home when I move into my new photography studio on 5th street in Courtenay BC will be the ease that I can shoot outdoors for newborn photography sessions. It was a beautiful day when we decided to pop out for a shot of this beautiful baby girl in amongst the buttercups.
Though I will miss that, I am so excited for almost 3X the space! and of course the proximity to awesome coffee shops, restaurants, and shopping on 5th street!

One of the reasons we purchased a property in the Comox Valley, was so I would be able to shoot clients at home! This was one of the first sessions I shot at my home, and I couldn't be happier.
I can't wait to meet this new little one in a few weeks for her newborn session! <3

Another Magical maternity session in the Comox Valley. I was so thankful that our friends at the Clever Crow shared their GORGEOUS flowers with us.
It so amazing to have farm at our fingertip in the Comox Valley. The best/worst part about this session was the chickens. Big sis LOVED being able to hang out with these little guys.. so much so, she was pretty much over photos and much more interested in partying with her feathery friends.

Another thing to mention is that all the dresses in this session are studio wardrobe! Which means when you book a Bellaphoto Maternity session, any of my dresses are available for you to use!
