Tsawwassen family photographer - grandparents session - Bellaphoto

"If you don't think photos are important, wait until they are all you have left." ~ Missy Mwac

This ^^^ This is why extended family session are so so so important. I love extended family sessions, and capturing the littles with the bigs, the older with the newer. It makes my heart happy.

This was such a fun session, not only was everyone STUNNING, they all had the best senses of humor and totally laughed at my lame lame jokes. Even thought it was pretty chilly in Tsawwasen, I think the laughing helped keep us warm. <3

Tiny mermaid - Bellaphoto - Tsawwassen newborn photography

Oh my goodness. Isn't this one of the most perfect little faces you have ever see? I had so much fun with this session!

Not only were mom and dad super awesome (*any dad that brings me coffee wins*) but seeing the love they had on their face for their tiny baby girl. GAH! it made my heart melt <3

A blustery day in the 100 acre wood - Tsawwassen BC

These people.. I love these people. Unfortunately, after moving to opposite sides of the lower mainland, and you know.. kids... we just don't get to spend as much time together as I wish we could.

How I miss watching weekly top model episodes with Mikey.. and his ever present impressive supply of costco cream puffs.

But sadly... things change, but one thing that does change, it I get my twice years family session in with this cool bunch.

This year, they took the trek all the way from North Vancouver, to Tsawwassen for their family photo session! Even 100 km/hr winds weren't going to stop us.

I love the ease of their outfits, simple, but color popping that really adds depth. Big brother G is one of my favorite little boys ever. look at the hair, eyes, smile.. heart stopping :)

Tsawwassen family photography || The B family- Bellaphoto

Wow.. my first blog post in months.. I guess being too busy to blog is a good thing right ;)

When picking images, I usually have a few favorites I like to feature, this whole session was my favorite. It was cold, windy, cloudy, even so, everything came together (in my eyes) magically. I love this Tsawwassen location for family photography.

It also doesn't hurt that is family is ridiculously good looking, AND mom has a wicked fashion sense. Though clothing choices don't "make" the image, they definitely play a part in setting the mood for the session. Less talk, more Rock, check out one of my new fav sessions.

Tsawwassen family photography - Bellaphoto- Fall colors

Sigh.... This is one of my favorite sessions... I think I always say that, but really, I LOVED this family.

Initially momma had called wanting a session for her baby girl, and maybe some family shots....

but seriously. these people are GORGEOUS, how could I not feature each of them!
I had such an awesome time capturing their family.

Big brother was by far the BEST 2 (almost 3 year old) I have ever photographed.  I knew it was going to be a good day when he walked up to me and said, "okay I am ready for my picture" with a big smile.
Fall was just beginning, and the warm butterytones, just make my heart melt!

Flower fields ||Maternity Photographer ||Bellaphoto ||Ladner BC

I am SO SO SO SO excited to share this session! I even have some things to write about it! :)

When discussing locations with this family, momma had mentioned she had a friend "with a farm" and we could shoot there.

What she should have said is, "I have a friend with an AMAZING FLOWER FARM, with the most beautiful spots you have ever SEEN"...

But instead. I headed to the location thinking, okay, grass, tall grass, maybe a tractor, possibly a barn.

My heart stopped.

BEST!!!!!

My photog buddies will know exactly what I mean.

Now don't even bother trying to find this top secret, off the map, location, it's not open to the public, and this was basically a once in a life time opportunity, and I am so glad I got it!!

On to the family.
This was such a fun session, I love seeing little girls get dirty, and big sis can get dirty with the best of them!
I can't wait to photography baby number 3 in the coming weeks! #3under3

Sweet little thing || Bellaphoto || Newborn photographer || Ladner BC

This is the kinda baby that makes you want more. Seriously she was perfect, her little eyes didn't even open once during the session. Seeing her parents light up at every little movement she made, is THE reason I do this job. <3
